John Paul II Center is a Catholic school and is open to all students regardless of race, creed, or religion. Our students come from all over Berks and neighboring counties.

If your child has been diagnosed with mental retardation and/or similar developmental disabilities and is between the ages of 3 and 21, please contact us at 610-777-0605 or complete the "Request Info" form on this page.  

GETTING STARTED
If you have a child with special needs, the John Paul II Center may be the answer to your prayers.

We encourage you to learn as much as you can about our beautiful facility, wonderful staff, quality programs and services, dedicated volunteers, and last but not least, our amazing students. The progress they make, the obstacles they overcome, the way they flourish and thrive at the school they love, are all important elements of the John Paul II Center story that you will want to learn about before you make a decision about your child's placement.

We warmly invite you to visit the school, tour the facility, and meet with the principal. Even if you decide that another program is best for your child, the time you spend at the John Paul II Center will be worthwhile, positive, and quite possibly inspiring.

SCHOOL DISTRICT INFO
John Paul II Center provides a non-public alternative to the special education services offered by the public school system.

We mainly serve students who reside in one of the 18 public school districts of Berks County, although some of our students live in adjoining counties. If your school district's border is within a 10-mile radius of our school, your district will provide transportation for your child.
