John Paul II Center receives support from fundraisers held throughout the school year. Many of our events are sponsored by the John Paul II Boosters and the Development Advisory Board. Bids for Kids

Bids for Kids is an annual event held here at John Paul II Center. The luncheon features a silent auction and a buffet prepared and donated by Outback Steakhouse. Auction items are donated by businesses and individuals in the community. Bids for Kids is sponsored by the Boosters parent organization. The 6th Annual Bids for Kids was held on Sunday, May 18, 2008. Thank you to everyone who supported this event!

Christmas Raffle

The annual Christmas Raffle features a wide assortment of specialized baskets and other prizes that are raffled off through the purchase of tickets. The Christmas Raffle is sponsored by the John Paul II Boosters. The drawing is held at the Christmas program each year. This year's raffle will be held on Tuesday, December 16, 2008.

Golf Tournament

The annual Golf Tournament is a Development Advisory Board sponsored event. In addition to the tournament, a silent auction is also featured. Funds are raised through participating golfers and through corporate and tee and green sponsors as well as other generous benefactors. All items for the silent auction are donated by businesses and individuals in the community. The 15th Annual Golf Tournament for John Paul II Center was held on Monday, June 30, 2008 at the Golden Oaks Golf Club. Thank you to everyone who participated and supported this year's tournament!

Guiding Hands Campaign

Our Guiding Hands Campaign begins each year in December. The contributions received from this campaign help to fund programs such as occupational and music therapies, life skills, and work for independence. Walk-a-Thon

The Walk-a-Thon for Catholic Education is held annually at Alvernia College in Reading, Pa. Students who attend Catholic schools throughout Berks County, are invited to participate in this fundraising event. Students raise money through pledges that they receive. All donations received by students at John Paul II Center remain here at the school and are used to fund programs such as Occupational Therapy and Life Skills. The 23rd Annual Walk-a-Thon was held on Sunday, October 19, 2008 at Alvernia University. Thank you to everyone who supported John Paul II Center in this year's Walk-a-Thon.
